After you arrive at Kilimanjaro airport your Tanzania Guide will be there to greet you. They will accompany you to your hotel and the rest of the day is yours to relax and soak in the ambiance. Once you’ve finished your breakfast your guide will come to your hotel to pick you up and take you to Arusha National Park, which’s the starting point of your safari. This enchanting park boasts a range of landscapes and wildlife. It offers everything, from lakes, waterfalls and swamps to volcanoes, mountains and lush tropical rainforests. These diverse habitats attract bird species like the silvery cheeked hornbill and thousands of pink flamingos. Additionally this park is known as the location, in Tanzania where its relatively easy to spot the black and white colobus monkey.
One of the activities, for visitors, in this national park is participating in a canoe or walking safari accompanied by an armed ranger. It offers an opportunity to experience wildlife up close giving you a perspective that differs from sitting inside a safari vehicle.

One of the standout events in the Serengeti is the migration, where over a million wildebeest gather creating an awe inspiring spectacle. Witnessing millions of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles thundering across the plains is a sight that leaves a lasting impression. Accompanied by your guide you’ll search for these herds as they traverse the grasslands. In addition to witnessing this migration you’ll also have the opportunity to observe a variety of captivating animals such, as lions, cheetahs, leopards, and more. Prepare to be captivated by Africa’s park’s natural beauty.

After finishing your breakfast you’ll embark on a drive, to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Along the way there is a chance to spot wildlife. Once you reach the rim of the crater you will descend towards the enchanting Ngorongoro Crater floor. The vistas are truly breathtaking! This volcanos collapse has created an ecosystem with a rich variety of plant life. Take in the colors of the landscapes. Marvel at the diverse array of animals that call this place their home. The crater boasts Africas concentration of wildlife including elephants, lions, buffaloes, hippos and even the elusive black rhino. It is renowned as one of the locations for encountering all members of Africas Big Five. The views from atop the crater rim looking down onto its floor are simply awe inspiring. Thanks, to its beauty the Ngorongoro Crater has been rightfully hailed as one of Africas Seven Natural Wonders.
There are a range of activities to do in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, like visiting a Maasai village.
Today after having breakfast you will set off on a journey, to Tarangire National Park for a day of thrilling wildlife exploration. This park although not as widely known as others in Tanzania still holds the essence of a safari experience. The undulating landscape adorned with Baobab trees against the blue sky is truly awe inspiring. Prepare yourself to witness the gathering of elephants in the world. You can spot herds of up to 300 elephants near the Tarangire River either quenching their thirst or indulging in a mud bath. In addition to its elephant population Tarangire is also a haven for bird enthusiasts. Keep your eyes peeled around the areas as you might catch a glimpse of lions, leopards, cheetahs and even pythons that’re skilled, in climbing trees.
Today you have the opportunity to take it easy and enjoy some leisure time or embark, on an exploration depending on your flight schedule. Your driver will transport you to Kilimanjaro Airport for your departure flight and on the day you will return home.
