Itinerary

After reaching Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) someone will be there to greet you and take you to your accommodation allowing you to rest and recuperate from your travels.
Overnight Moshi/Arusha

Embark, on a journey to Tarangire National Park, which typically takes around 3 4 hours. This park is known for its abundance of elephants making it a true sanctuary for these creatures. One of the attractions are the magnificent baobab trees that dot the landscape. As you explore the park you’ll notice that animals tend to congregate along the Tarangire River as it serves as their source of water in this area. With a variety of wildlife such as lions, leopards, cheetahs and an impressive elephant population of, up to six thousand individuals there’s no shortage of wonders to admire. Make sure to make the most out of your afternoon by embarking on a game drive experience.

After having breakfast you’ll embark on a four hour drive to reach the Serengeti, one of Africas game parks. The Serengeti is teeming with millions of wildebeest during their migration and, across its plains you’re likely to encounter lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas and various other small predators. Your guide will carefully select the spots for wildlife observation based on the time of year. Take some time to witness the hippo pool where these majestic creatures lazily relax in the cooling water alongside crocodiles. Observe a lion stealthily stalking its prey or be awestruck by the grandeur of the migration. As you journey from plains, to rocky kopjes – volcanic outcrops that offer protection and shelter for a wide array of animals – this diverse and captivating landscape will provide an unparalleled wildlife viewing experience.

Day 4 :

Start your day in the Serengeti to search for cats before they seek refuge from the scorching sun. After a hours of game driving you’ll head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a stay. The Ngorongoro caldera is a marvel being the largest intact and unflooded caldera, in the world. With its diameter of around 20 kilometers and depth of 600 meters the Ngorongoro Crater will leave you awestruck. What makes it truly special is that most of the wildlife resides within its walls providing opportunities for game viewing. To make the most of your day exploring this crater it’s best to rise as rhinos are often spotted here along with prides of lions and other predators, like cheetahs.

Day 6 :
Ngorongoro

Same day

In the morning you’ll embark on a drive, to Lake Manyara, which should take an hour. This park is often referred to as a treasure, in Tanzania well known for its tree climbing lions and impressive herds of elephants that fearlessly approach vehicles. After enjoying lunch you’ll return to Moshi or Arusha by car with an estimated travel time of 2 3 hours.

Day 8 :
Departure

Today you will be taken back, to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) in order to catch your flight on time.
